This one is based on the hypothesis of an ancient five-tone musical system, which for us modern can be easily approximated through the pentatonic scale of g flat major, formed to the piano by the only black keys.

A reconstruction by Marcelle Duchesne-Guillemin may be heard at the Urkesh webpage , though this is only one of at least five "rival decipherments of the notation, each yielding entirely different results". 2021-01-05 Hurrian song refers to a small repertory of mostly fragmentary relics, or to the one nearly complete member of this group (also known as the Hurrian cult hymn, the Hurrian hymn to Nikkal, A Zaluzi to the Gods, or simply h.6), which is the oldest surviving complete work of notated music, dating to approximately 1400 BC. 2016-07-12 2021-01-01 2014-12-07 2002-07-16 2017-02-13 View, download and print in PDF or MIDI sheet music for Hurrian Hymn No. 6 by N/A Hurrian Hymn No 6. The Hurrian songs are a collection of music inscribed in cuneiform on clay tablets excavated from the ancient Amorite-Canaanite city of Ugarit, a headland in northern Syria, which date to approximately 1400 BCE. One of these tablets, which is nearly complete, contains the Hurrian Hymn to Nikkal, making it the oldest surviving substantially complete work of notated music in the world.
